Director
Ian Rodley
Ian started as a DAZL participant on the programme, and following completion of his degree he has worked for DAZL as the previous Dance Facilitator, now Ian is the DAZL Director and has overall responsibility for all of DAZL's activities and strategic planning, ensuring that DAZL strives to reach its organisational goals.
In addition to this he is the Head Coach and Founder of the International Championship winning Cheer Dance Squad DAZL Diamonds. Ian is also responsible for developing the DAZL Boys Strand which is the only strand of work in Europe which engages boys of all ages into cheer dance/ Hip-Hop.

Finance and Administration Manager
Amanda Noble
Amanda has responsibility for DAZL's finance function, ensuring annual accounts and budgets are properly maintained. Amanda also runs the administration function including Charities Commission and Companies House returns are properly filed.
Youth Dance Facilitator
Cherry Brown
Cherry has developed through DAZL from being a young person on the programme, and following from her training at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance he has worked for DAZL, now managing part of the DAZL Active 4 Life programme.

Rashmi Dube
Rashmi is the newly elected Chair of the DAZL board of trustees. She has a strong legal background as a Solicitor as well as a mentor for women in business. Rashmi currently runs her own company Liquid Recovery.

Janette Munton
Janette was one of the first trustees and is a senior manager in NHS Leeds. As well as a strong background in public health Janette is also involved in community activities including organising the Farmers Market ion North Leeds.

Jane Pritchard
Jane is currently Head of Finance at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, and previous roles include organisations such as the BBC and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Jo Swan
Jo is a newly appointed DAZL board member; she is the founder and Director at Chocolate PR which is a Public Relations, Marketing and Events Agency, based in Leeds and London.

Emma Clayton
Emma is a newly appointed DAZL board member she is currently Head of Dance of Wakefield College/ University, and previously was also the founder and Artistic Director of Ascendance Rep a Leeds based contemporary dance company with a reputation for excellence in contemporary dance performance.

Helen Linsell
Helen has been working as a Community Dance Artist for 10 years and has taught in a range of contexts and settings across the UK and beyond. She now specialises in contemporary dance and social inclusion after working as a Dance Artist and Director for Dance United since 2007. Helen continues to freelance across Yorkshire whilst co-directing Dance United Yorkshire, a new Community Interest Company.

Jan Burkhardt
Jan was DAZL's founding Director and now works for NHS Leeds. Jan's background includes being a professional dancer and community & education manager as well as producing her own dance productions.
Youth Dance Leaders
Youth Dance Leaders are young people trained by DAZL who now deliver dance back into their own communities.
They are local experts who know the people and the areas inside out, enabling DAZL to offer a very bespoke and relevent service.
