DAZL Youth Dance Facilitator (Two 0.5 Posts)
£21,531 – £ 22,973 Per Annum Pro Rata (actual pay £10,766 - £11,487)
DAZL is an innovative community dance programme improving health and well being for young people in disadvantaged areas of Leeds.
Currently seeking a Youth Dance Practitioner to co-ordinate and deliver the “Engaging Inactive Children and Communities” programme in South and East Leeds. The ideal candidate will be committed and energetic, with at least 3 years experience of teaching dance to young people in community settings. Extremely self motivated, the Youth Dance Facilitators will act as advocates for DAZL as it expands to new areas of Leeds.
Hours: 18.5 hrs/wk excl. breaks. Exact times to be negotiated (anticipated weekdays 2pm–7pm)
Contract: This is a one year fixed term contract to August 2010 (in the first instance, although likely to continue beyond)
Office Base: Tenants Hall, Acre Close, Middleton, Leeds, LS10 4HX
